Back at the table

 Nice to have Dan back at the table.   We did the intro scenario for Ambush Alley/ Force on Force "Contractor Trouble".

The Marines squad has to get to the ambush site and rescue 2 PMCs and extract in 6 turns.

Although they turned in a flawless performance  there were a couple of points were success rested on some lucky turns of the dice.

Marines enter from far side, 2 fire teams and squad leader.

Moving tactically through the market 

The other fireteam provides overwatch.

Reaching the PMCs, the Marines are attacked by a small group of Irregulars.  Marines win the initiative and drop 2.  The Irregular leader survives and bravely scoops up the fallen RPG and launches it into the truck!.......and rolls minimum damage...

PMCs in tow, Marines head for the extraction point.  They will just make it within the turn limit  unless...

Insurgents pool at the exit point to launch a last bid ambush.  But again the Marines firepower sees them through the gauntlet.   A perfect score win for Marines 15-0.
